Your flock in your pocket.
The same live map, records and alerts as the dashboard — out on the hill, in the race, at the mart. Built for the phone you already carry, on farms where the signal runs out.
Coming shortly to the App Store and Google Play. The app is built and in testing now. If you would like it on your phone as soon as it lands, get in touch and we will send you the link.
The app, on the phone
Thirty-eight seconds, start to finish
Sign in, the live stock map, dropping a geofence, an animal's record, and the alerts that reach you in the field.
What you get on the phone

Your whole farm, at a glance
Head tracked, how many are located, what needs attention, and the live alert and activity feed — the first thing you see.

Every animal on the live map
LoRa, satellite and 4G positions on one map of your holding, colour-coded so strays stand out.

Search the whole flock
Filter by tag, field or mob across every animal on the holding.

One animal, whole history
Breed, age, field, condition, last fix, treatments and weights on a single record.

Ask Shep, your AI farm dog
Plain-English questions about your stock — which animals need checking, what happened overnight.

Grazing and commons
Move mobs, track rest and recovery, and keep stint and rights records for shared grazing.
In the app
Live map with no signal needed
LoRa ear tags report to on-farm gateways rather than the mobile network, so positions keep arriving in fell and valley dead-zones. Satellite (NTN) and 4G tags are supported alongside them.
Geofences you draw once
Drop a boundary around a paddock or common and every animal is checked against it, with a stray alert and a live position the moment one crosses.
Records that stand up
Treatments with meat and milk withdrawal periods, weights and daily liveweight gain, breeding due dates, and the on/off-holding movement register — exportable for your paperwork.
Alerts that matter
Off-paddock, gone-quiet, night-movement and battery-low alerts, triaged so you get the ones worth walking out for.
Herd health and grazing
Fever and activity watch-lists, rotational grazing moves with rest and recovery, and stocking plans for commons.
Ask Shep

How the app fits the rest of it
The tags do the hard part. LoRaWAN ear tags report to gateways on your own land; satellite and 4G tags report over their networks. All of it lands on the Flockarewe platform, which geofences, triages and keeps the records.
The app is a client of that platform, not a radio. It reads your farm's data over HTTPS and shows the same live map and alerts as the dashboard — which is why nothing has to be paired, configured or carried around to make it work.
If you run a common or shared grazing, the same account carries the commons module: stints, rights, breaches and per-commoner statements.
Common questions
Do I need a Flockarewe account to use the app?+
Yes. The app is a companion to the Flockarewe platform, so you sign in with the account your farm already uses. Accounts are set up by the farm administrator rather than in the app itself.
Does the app work without a mobile signal?+
Tracking does not depend on your phone having signal — LoRa ear tags report to on-farm gateways, and the platform holds the positions. You will need a connection on the phone itself to load the latest data, so the usual pattern is to check the map before you head out and again when you are back in coverage.
Does the app talk to the ear tags directly?+
No. The tags are LoRaWAN, NB-IoT satellite and 4G devices that report to a gateway or satellite network, which delivers to our server. The app reads that data from the platform over HTTPS — a phone is never in the radio path.
Which phones are supported?+
iPhone and Android. The app is built from one codebase and shows the same live map, records and alerts as the web dashboard.
What does it cost?+
The app is included with your Flockarewe subscription at no extra cost. See pricing for the plans.
