AI livestock monitoring

An AI that watches the herd for you

Meet Shep — the AI agent inside Flockarewe. It watches every animal around the clock, tells normal grazing from real trouble, and alerts you the moment stock stray or a health problem appears. Less noise, real alerts.

Watches every animal, always

Shep continuously checks every animal's position and sensor readings against its geofence and health baselines — around the clock, so nothing slips past.

Alerts you to what matters

Straying, herd-scatter, a fever or an animal gone quiet are surfaced the instant they happen, by email and push — with the animal's live location.

Less noise, not more

Shep tells normal grazing from real trouble and holds back the repeat-spam, so you get the alert that matters instead of a flood you learn to ignore.

Ask in plain English

Ask “which animals haven't reported today?” or “any fevers this morning?” and get a straight answer — plus an optional daily brief on the whole herd.

A farm dog that never sleeps

A live map is only useful if someone's watching it. Shep does the watching — continuously checking every animal's position against its geofence and its sensor readings against health baselines, then raising a real alert with the animal's live location the instant something's wrong.

Shep works across all the tags and collars we supply, on both cattle and sheep. Ask it a plain-language question any time, or let its daily brief keep you across the whole herd without opening the map.

AI livestock monitoring — FAQs

What is AI livestock monitoring?

It's software that watches your animals for you. Flockarewe's AI agent, Shep, continuously checks every animal's location and sensor data, decides what's normal and what's a problem, and alerts you only when something needs attention — instead of leaving you to watch a map.

What does Shep actually alert me to?

Strays out of a geofence, several animals moving together (rustling or a predator), after-hours movement, tamper, an animal gone unusually quiet, low battery, and health issues like fever or a drop in activity.

Will it flood me with alerts?

No — the opposite. Shep triages events and applies cooldowns so you get the meaningful alert, not endless noise. That's the point of an AI agent: signal, not spam.

Can I ask it questions?

Yes. Ask in plain language — for example which animals haven't reported today, or whether any have a fever — and Shep answers. It can also send a daily brief summarising the herd.

Does the AI work with all the tags?

Yes. Shep works across all the hardware we supply — LoRa, GNSS and 4G tags and collars — and any new devices we add. The more a tag reports (location, temperature, activity), the more Shep can watch.
